Inquiry on Seamless Planning Activation and HANA Cloud Verification in SAP Analytics Cloud

Hello Everyone,

I would like to ask if the seamless planning functionality is currently active or if it is planned for a future release. I'm trying to utilize it, but I don't see the option to select the "Data Storage Location" when creating a new model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Additionally, I am unsure if my SAC system is running on HANA Cloud, which might be part of the issue. Could you advise how I can confirm whether my SAC system is running on HANA Cloud?

Please let me know if seamless planning is active for any tenants or if this feature will be released at a later date.

If the 'About' popup of your tenant has 'HANA Cloud version', it means your tenant is already on HANA Cloud. Otherwise it's not.  HANA Cloud is the prerequisite for seamless planning. 

Currently SAP is planning to migrate customer tenants tentatively in H2 2025.

Both SAC and Datasphere tenants must be linked in a 1:1 relationship by the system owner.

Could you please let me know the steps you followed to get the HANA cloud version? Is there any faster way to obtain it instead of waiting for the SAP upgrade? I would greatly appreciate your help.

No, this process can only be initiated by SAP.
