Independent Requirements is not showing up correctly

Hi Friends.

I have a specific issue in which for some materials I am unable to check the Ind.Reqmnt in MD04. So I have to do MC94 then from Environment Menu I transfer the plan to Demand Management and then Transfer.

When the INDREQ do not show up, we go into MC94 and transfer the scheduled qty into demand management and the message always comes back that the requirement is already saved so I am not sure what the issue is.

Can you please look into.

Hi,

Go to MD62 for that material and check whether already the PIRs exists for that material or not.It is very common scenarion while transferring the requirements from MC94 to demand management.

My Question is why for certain material I have to do MC94 and transfer the requirements and then it gets displayed in MD04 and why not for some materials which regularly displays PIRs in MD04.

Hi Nilesh,

MC94 is a planning board transaction where you plan based on SOP and then you will transfer the requirements to demand management.may be some material are planned through SOP.that y you need to transfer the requirements.

For some material which you will not do MC94 may be independently planned. already there is PIRs defined in MD61 transaction.please check and confirm

Check in S076 table(Info structure) using SE16 transaction, which ever material has an entry here is planned in SOP and then needs to be transferred to Demand Management(DM).

Caution: It is not mandatory that for an SOP Planned material demand has to be transferred from SOP to DM. You are allowed to directly create PIR in MD61 also.

I checked S076, and found that there is no entry in the table for the selected plant.

What is the type of SOP planning used in your company? Level by Level - Standard SOP or Consistent Planning? Please check this from the project documention you have, there it would be mentioned if a custom Infostructre is being used in your company. Please use this Infostructre in SE16 to check.

Hi,

It depends , you can enter manually for the particular Planning type or you can use any upload program by which you can enter the values in MC94

You can enter the values there directly for a version and you have an option to transfer from COPA or Import from COPA.

Pls make sure that PIR transferred from SOP to Demand Mgmnt has 'Active Version'.

Dear Nilesh,

if ur looking for PIR's , then go to MD73

here give plant, MRP controller & execute the report

u will get ur all existing PIR's
