Incorrect Enhancement Implementation, Not Released FM calls, Direct DB Update. Consulting Service.

Hi All,

For on-premise system, sometime incorrect implementation of enhancement, calls of not released FM, direct DB update could cause data inconsistency. In case of incorrect implementation of enhancement, based on my understanding of note 83020 is that:

errors that were caused by a modification to the system (for example, using user exits and so on) (for customers that have a valid SAP Enterprise Support contract, number 5 applies)

SAP could help but as a consulting request, which means additional charge is required.

But since in note 2527926 regarding calls of not released FM:

The function module is "Not released" which means we cannot provide any support for this function if you use it

SAP does not provide "any support".

But I want to confirm my understanding here. In terms of data inconsistency, cause by anything (incorrect implementation of enhancement, calls of not released FM, direct DB update), will SAP help but as a consulting request (additional charge)?
