Hello All,
We have a scenario where the storage location used in the PO is linked to External Warehouse and when the inbound delivery is created the stock type at the item level is coming as blank which is leading to no creation of inspection lot when the material document is posted through EDI from the external system.
Can someone explain does the plant-storage location-warehouse assignment will have an impact on the stock type determination at the inbound delivery line item level? If I use the same data except the different storage location which is not linked to warehouse we have no issues.
Appreciate if someone explain if there are any additional configurations to be maintained to activate the same in order to generate the inspection lot when material document idoc is posted from the external system to ECC.
We are connecting SAP ECC system to External 3PL warehouse provider.
