In the Create Material app the Material Base Unit Of Measure - "Number" UoM is not available.

We need to assign UoM - Number but same is not available in dropdown.

This is possible through creating Custom Units of Measure (UoM). To create a custom UoM, it's required to create a ISO Code first then the Unit of Measure. Please follow these steps in order to do so:

Creating ISO Code:

1. Access your CBC System or Manage Your Solution and go to SSCUI / Configuration Activity 102179 - '2. Units of Measurement'.
2. Click 'ISO Codes' tab.
3. Click 'New Entries' tab.
4. Enter ISO code, example '1' and ISO code text 'Number'.
5. Hit 'Save'.

Creating Unit of Measure:

1. Access your CBC System or Manage Your Solution and go to SSCUI / Configuration Activity 102179 - '2. Units of Measurement'.
2. Click 'Unit of Measure' tab at the bottom.
3. Click 'Create' tab.
4. Here create Internal UoM, example 'ZNU', Commercial, example 'ZNU', and Technical, example 'ZNUM.
5. Then the Unit of Measure Text, example 'Number'.
6. Then Enter ISO code '1'.
7. Hit 'Save'.

NOTE: When creating custom units of measure always put 'Z' in front as (Custom Z) they are considered as Customer Customizing and are not effected by the Upgrade processes.

You should be then able to use Number as a UoM.
