There are no real changes between ECC RE-FX and S4HANA RE-FX. The only difference is when using Lease contracts with Valuation. In that case the postings will change from an Account approach to a Ledger approach. This is also the case in Asset Accounting where the Depreciation areas follow the Ledger approach.
If we just look at tables, transactions, programs in RE-FX all is the same. Not all new Fiori apps can be used fully unfortunately but the old transactions are still available.
If you move to Public Cloud also the old RE-FX is still in place although it is named CLM now. There is less possibility to configure the system but a lot of Best Practice is available.
