In Migrate your data app error as "The tax number for tax number category IN3 is already maintained"

Dear Team,

In SAP S4HANA Public Cloud, while migrating data of Customer master, we are getting below error in simulate.

"The tax number for tax number category IN3 is already maintained".

We tried a lot to find out the root cause for the same, but couldn't get the reason.

Your help is most appreciated.

We may need to check in your system and see how the data is organized. You can check the below Onpremise KBA and verify everything is same in Maintain/manage business partner application if data already existing.

You can try creating the customer data manually (without the migration app) with same data and see if the problem persist. This can give more insight on your current configuration in the system
