In CL02 and CT04 there are fields, where we can maintain Authorizations, in ECC On premise these fields are free text but in  S4 Hana public cloud it has drop down. Can anyone how these values can be maintained.

Is there any customization path or any Fiori App where we need to maintain the details.

Refer Screenshots attached for better details

Any help will be appreciated

Hello @AbhijitGoswami

You're right, the fields that were free-text in ECC Class/Characteristic Authorisation Group and the three Authorisations in CL/CT are not free-text in S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition. In Public Cloud, they serve as value-helps pulling from configuration entries.

How to maintain the values in S4 Public Cloud

Maintain them in SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC), not in a Fiori app or SM30.

CBC path: Configuration Activities → Cross-Application Components → Classification System

  • Define Authorisation Groups for Classes
  • Define Authorisation Groups for Characteristics

Create the code example "AAAA" and descriptions, activate/transport via CBC. After activation, the dropdowns in CL02/CT04 (GUI for HTML) will display those values. There’s no separate Fiori maintenance app for these groups in Public Cloud.

If you don’t have CBC access, ask your implementation/CBC admin to add the entries and move them to your tenant.

With regards
