ICMR after Go-Live of Group Reporting

Hello Experts,

Is it possible to implement ICMR after a Group Reporting go live? Meaning implement GR with regular reclassification/elimination rules at the FS Item balance level and after a year/two implement ICMR?
Seems reasonable to do this to be able to focus just on the ICMR process and replace the balance postings with the ICMR result later.

Any implications?

The SAP Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2916087 contains the necessary configurations for implementing ICMR, including those for posting rule-based elimination.
