I want to upgrade SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7x200 (Extension Set 2.00) to ECC 6.0 Ehp4

I want to upgrade SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7x200 (Extension Set 2.00) with Oracle9.2.0.1 on 32 Bit Windows 2003 server  to ECC 6.0 Ehp4 on Windows 64bit with oracle 10.2.

Plz share the info if you have an experience on this...

I need the info on the following

Firstly how to download the required Upgrade DVDs? what exactly the DVDs contain, like dump between 4.7 to ecc6 ehp4? can i have a detailed points on this?

what is the tool I can use for upgrade?

Can any one share the screen shots?

Hi,

The upgrade guide at the service marketplace http://service.sap.com/instguides -> Business Suite Apps -> SAP ERP -> Upgrade.

The list of DVDs required with DVD numbers is mentioned in guide. The same can be downloaded from the SMP itself. DVDs would of different type containing the Upgrade Program, Exports containing Upgrade content like tables etc, Kernel containing binary executables etc.

The tool use it SAPup contained in the Upgrade master DVD. Would recommend you to check the upgrade guide in detail. Then please let us know incase of specific questions.

But even I was looking out for the same upgrade and the requirement was asked to me. I couldn't understand the document as i don't have Sno.

What exactly the Upgrade dvds contain?

How to proceed the upgrade of sap and oracle?

can you help me out with the screen shots if you are having any. Kindly plz share this doc Sir.

It is not only a release upgrade , but also an EHP installation.

Although upgrade DVD resource could be found and downloaded from SMP, Upgrade master Guide and Media list.

It is still recommended to download all the EHP package and SPs by SAP solution manager MOPz.

BTW, MOPz will also generate an XML stack file, which upgrade tool (SUM/ SAPup) will ask you to import during technical upgrade.
