I want to change MM072 message type in SAP

I want to change MM072 message type in SAP. This message type is warning but I want to error. How can I do it?

Looks MM 072 is a hard coded warning message and T160M message control doesn't have impact!

if I am correct MM072 is Deletion flag is set at plant level--why you want to all purchasing documents to created for materials marked for deletion?--However -- if you still want to continue you need to navigate to change the configuration settings

SPRO-->Materials Management-->Purchasing-->Define Attributes of System Messages or  SPRO-->Materials Management-->Purchasing-->Define Attributes of System Messages (All Application Areas)

to change to W from E.

Check Tx OMT4 If it is standard message you may not able to change the category from W to E.

As explained by Prasoon -- you would not able to change it to W-- if you do not see the message even through configuration --you can click new entries and change it to W ---but if it is hardcoded --then whatever you do it will not work -- if you do not know how to change configuration
