Hi,
We recommend the users to use Manage Purchase Requisition Professional app for editing the rejected PR or PR line items. The Create Purchase Requisition - Advanced app does not support editing of rejected PR or PR line items.
In Manage Purchase requisitions app you can:
The requisition or item then moves out of the Rejected status and enables resubmission. You can make the required changes and choose Save. If the changes made are restart-relevant, then the relevant workflow is triggered.
Note that if you start editing a rejected requisition or item, and then cancel the draft, the status is set back to Rejected.

Krithika

Hello brandy ,
Editing rejected Purchase Requisition items would cause follow on workflow errors and is therefore not allowed.
Resolution here is to create new purchase requisition.
Please refer to following KBA's for details:

Hello brandy , In addition to hemashree.b 's information. The system behavior on rejection of a PR also depends on how the workflow is setup in the system. Because during the workflow configuration of Purchase Requisition, for each step we have options how the system should behave if a PR is rejected. We currently have options like 'Cancel Workflow', 'Repeat Step', 'Restart Workflow', 'Continue'.
So you can try using either of these option to over come the current gap (Rejected PRs cannot be edited).
For example, If we add the requester of the PR as the first level approval,we can choose the option restart workflow & the requester would get the PR if it is rejected.
Or
While rejecting a PR, User mentions a note 'Rejected'. In this case we can use the 'Continue' option so that the PR is still in the workflow but the next User does not approve it after reading the note. In this case the Requester can still edit & change the PR as it is in approval.
Kindly note that these are only workarounds to overcome the current Gap.
Best Regards,
Anup
