I can't call ActionValidation-Post from Supplier Invoice XBO ASBL ByD

Hi experts

I'm trying to make some validations on supplier invoice when button Post is clicked and the ActionValidation-Post is called. This standard action is set by default in xbo file

I've noticed that this action is never called when I click Post button.

Does anyone know if this action is activated by this buttton in supplier invoice?

Hi David,

If you want to restrict the release/posting of the supplier invoice document then you can also write the logic on Validation-OnSave.absl. When you click on the Post button, your validation on save absl script also gets triggered, and based on "SupplierInvoiceLifeCycleStatusCode" & "PostingStatusCode" you can put the validation.

Hi and thanks I tried the suggested solution you wrote. In Event-AfterModify I called the Post function to trigger the Validation-Post action, there I added the validation to return false so it won't post, furthermore I tried on Validation-OnSave. The Invoice is not posted and its status is not saved but the Invoice shows the message "successfully post", is it possible to avoid this (showing the message)? or am I doing something wrong? (The other 2 messages I added)

Could you please try selecting FinishDataEntryProcessing action, which will post the invoice document?
