I am not able to assign Charactestics to a Combination in "Manage Characteristic Combinations" app

Hi everyone,

I am currently trying to create a Characteristic Combination in order to later on use it in BPS but I am facing an issue.

In the app "Manage Characteristic Combinations",  I have been able to create a new combination for Catalog Type "Base (Sales Document)". When I try to assign Characteristics, I am able to see the tree and to select the ones I want to include but when I click in "Assign" nothing happens and it remains blank. 

I have checked in SU53 but there is no error showing neither so I am not sure if the problem is related to my role (shouldn't be since I do have access to the fiori app) or what could be the problem. 

Any idea?

@NaveenKumarCThere is nothing on the screen. It just stays as is withn the characteristics area blank.

Hi papa261190, I suggest to create a new case via SAP support portal. I think it will be necessary to analyse the issue in detail. Sorry, I think without a check in your system this can not be resolved. best regards, Michael

The issue was on the authorization object, more specifically a missing activity field that needed to  be included. Problem solved

do you have the missing authorization object/activity? and is it assigned to the SAP user ID?

Hi, my role was not assigned * activities (authorization field), which is what is required for this to run properly. I am using a copy of the sap standard role with some limitations.
