Hi All,
I’m facing an issue with Handling Unit in ERP to EWM Distribution. The materials are packed in the inbound delivery in ERP using the number range object HU_VEKP. The number range is set to internal, and the packaging material also has the correct number range assignment.
However, the same HU is not appearing in EWM, there is no error in the queue, and there is no trace in SLG1 either. Then I try to create using the /SCWM/PACK and HU is creating, after packed I clicked the save button and automatically HU is removed from the screen.
It looks unusual, and I’m not able to identify the cause. Could you please let me know if there are any recent SAP Notes related to this behaviour or any known issues?
Is the note "3421825 - Missing/incorrect packing information in inbound delivery confirmation message" is related to this? please note, In the same system I created multiple HUs before the system refresh.
it is S4HANA 2023 Embedded EWM system. (S4CORE 108)

Hi,
Have you checked the outbound queue (SMQ1) of your ERP system? Does the queue container have the HU data you are expecting?
Alternatively on the EWM side: have you checked the inbound queue (SMQ2)?
You can deregister the queues with SMQE or SMQR respectively to stop processing and then re-test to produce a new queue entry.

Actually in my /SCWM/HUHDR table, I’m seeing the storage bins stored ( created manually using /SCWM/LS01 T code).The Zone A bins were created by me, and they’re showing inside /SCWM/HUHDR. But the actual handling units, like A10005 and A10006 created using the packaging material ASG-SUPPLIER-CASE, those are the real HUs.
I don’t understand how the bin info is getting stored here. Maybe that’s what is causing the issue in the first place, I’m not sure.
Also, it is not about the S4 and EWM integration because even if I create the HU in the /SCWM/PACK and when trying to save also, Hu number is automatically removing from the screen.

there can be many reasons for the system behaviour. The provided information and screenshots are not sufficient here. This topic is nothing for SAP Community. Please create customer incident, the SAP support must analyze this issue in your system.
