http status 404 not found when login SLD

we've created a reverse proxy server, and we've changed the SLD and authentication server in SLD Security tab to point to the proxy server. after that, we've restarted the SLD and SLD authentication service.

however, when trying to login to SLD, we get an error

http status 404 not found

the page stays at the authentication server page. see attached.

The reported scenario seems the same we have documented in attached SAP NOTE 3149311 - Error "HTTP Status 404 - Not Found" When SLD Is Using Port 30010.
Please, perform the referred workaround and let us know the results.

For the HTTP Not found 404 --The server has not found anything matching the URI given; page not found, or file not found, we can try below steps,
1.           Restart your browser. Try closing the current window and opening a new one.
2.           Clear cache. Remove your browser data and history. 
3.           Use another device. 
4.           Switch to the Incognito window.

the SAP note is not relevant, we've found out the issue due to the b1c_extAddress.conf in the proxy server mapped to wrong folder, we will need to change the root controlcenter folder to match the nginx installation folder. issue is resolved.
