Hi guys
I have a problem with an add-on when we try to add a new activity to a service call.
We did the next steps:
- the user opens the service call form.
- the user opens the activitiy form from service call.
- the user links a document to the activity and saves the data.
- the user updates the service call.
- SAP shows a message: there are service calls for this serial number.
- the user closes the message.
- the user updates the service call. The button UPDATE is active.
After these steps SAP shows an error message: HRESULT 0xFFFFB9E in SAPbobsCOM.CompanyClass.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes Object)
The user closed SAP and opened a new session. He could saved the data.
Any idea?
All the best.

The error are normally an indication that the SDK is an incorrect version or it is unstable so resetting the DI-API in the temp folder is recommended
- In windows, go to Start > Run
- Type in %temp%. and press OK
- In the window that appear locate the SM_OBS_DLL folder and rename it to oldSM_OBS_DLL
- Restart SAP Business One or if the error persists reinstalling the DI-API
The error can happen in other scenarios, but this is the most common.
Should the above don't help the best recommendation it to stay on the latest stable SAP Business One patches.
HRESULT errors comes and goes with the SAP Patches. During rampup versions there is tons of them while mature versions have less and less (but never to the point where there are none). For that reason the best we can recommend it working with the latest most mature versions of SAP (the more mature, the better version it then to be)

Thanks for your answer,
but the user could close SAP and opened again. He repeated all steps and he could save the data without reinstalling the DI API.
My customer is in 2007A SP01 PL10 HF02, and he can work without problems with service calls and the other SAP B1 modules.
I know that if you close SAP, SM_OBS_DLL folder will be empty, and when you open SAP again all data are saved in this folder. But if he could work without problems adding and updating service calls, why did SAP show this message?
Any idea?
All the best.
Agustín.
