how to use datediff in a story table column

Hi,

I need to show a column as number of months between start date and end date dimension in my story table. For that purpose I tried creating a calculated dimension where I wanted to use datediff but it gives me the below error.

I even added a property to the dimensions but it still shows error. 

Any solution for this?

PS: My story is model based

Hi Team,

as per your referenced image 1 : "Type" drop down box - you have an option for "Date Difference" .

please select that - and then provide appropriate from and to fields. this will get you the result in a calculated measure.
