How to Suspend/Pause Asset Depreciation in SAP B1

My client wants to suspend/pause the depreciation some of its equipment/facility since it is not used in production.

The Fixed Asset Depreciation Type is a Straight Line Method. I am looking for a workaround for this kind of requirement.

Hi,

May be you can check by not having a depreciation Type with % defined for the required asset and use Manual Depreciation posting for the same assets. This way you can manage which months have depreciation (you post the Manual Depreciation) and for the rest you can leave by not recording any Manual Depreciation.
