How to split documents with more than 999 line items which are posted via AFAB/AFABN?

Hi all,

I have browsing a few solutions which aim to address the problems regarding splittling documents with more than 999 line items. However, none of them mentioned the solution for documents post via depreciation run post AFAB or AFABN.

I have tried activating the BADI FI_GL_POSTING_SPLIT but it seems that this BADI does not work with document type AF, reference document type AMDP.

If you guys have any recommendation on how to split this kind of document, please let me know.

How did you implement the   BADI FI_GL_POSTING_SPLIT? do we need to call the BADI along with the method CHANGE_SPL_CLEARNG_LINE_ITM right after the G/L posting using   'BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST'?  am not sure can you please provide the source code? 
I am using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST to post the G/L entries.

CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST' 
EXPORTING
documentheader = i_documentheader
TABLES
accountgl = i_item_gl
currencyamount = i_item_currency
return = i_return.

Now I am not sure where to call this BADI 'FI_GL_POSTING_SPLIT'.
