How to set role restriction in the Manage Project Demand

Hello,
I have a question regarding business role restrictions.

In the Manage project demand app, I want to ensure that only specific purchase groups are visible based on the user’s business role when creating a demand and assigning a purchase group.

Although I configured the restrictions in Business Role Maintenance, users can still see and assign all purchase groups, not just the restricted ones.

Could you guide me on how to properly set up these restrictions?

Add a note for users of "Manage Project Demand" app: after checking with the development, the role restrictions were not implemented in this app. There is no plan when it will be implemented.

Hi @yrjin ,

My first suspicion is to find out other business catalogs might grant access to this same app. When multiple business catalogs grant access to one specific app, the restriction set in one business catalog will be overwritten by other non-restrictive catalogs.

Hi George, thank you for your help. A test user has only one business role, and the catalog for that role is also set to just one. Even in this case, does overwriting occur?
