How to set Material Number as Read-Only in Create Material app?

• There is a requirement that when creating a material using the Create Material App (MM01) that the user should not be able to assign the material number, this field should be greyed out. 
• The user should only create materials as copies of existing materials.
• The system then auto assigns the number when the materials are created.

1. Open up Adapt UI on the Profile Icon.
2. Hit he "+" and add Flavor.
3. Enter Name and Description of Flavor.
4. Hit create.
5. Click on Material field and navigate to Home > More Options.
6. Click Read-Only to restrict field.

This will prevent the user from manually inputting the number into Material Numbers field.

Hello Sap Support, thanks for the answer, but how to make sure this flavor is assigned to every single user so that no one can input a material number? I checked the "manage flavors" fiori/gui application and it does not allow me to assign users in mass to the new flavor. Your help will be appreciated
