How to set different dispatch date for New and Change Purchase order in OPD

We would like to have dispatch date 1 - immediately for "New" purchase order and dispatch date 2 - scheduled for "Change" purchase order (with change indicator = 'X').

How do we set this up in the Output parameter determination app?

"Change indicator" is not available in the list of condition parameter.

Dear Customer,

  1. Please take a look at page 42 /4.3.3 Output Parameter Determination.

Hi, I do not think 4.3.3 explains how to setup different dispatch date for 'new' and 'change' PO in OTD. There is no precondition that is suitable for this purpose. Can you please explain again? Thank you

Hello Victor, under OPD settings PO > Output Type you can set the dispatch time for pruchase order:

I hope the media helps.

Hi Iza, thanks for your reply. From the screenshot, the dispatch time will be applicable to both 'new' and 'change' PO. In our business requirement, we want to set dispatch 1 - immediately for 'new' PO but set dispatch 2 - scheduled for 'change' PO. Is there a way we can set this differentiation in OTD?

Hi Victor!

Related to your last question:  no, you cannot configure this differentiation purely in OPD. I'd suggest to maintain two output types with a clear determination rule (if you have a way to flag new vs change).
