How to restrict updating CLID after changes in Main Agreement with Finalized status?

Hi Team,

I create Contract workspaces, using the template. In this template, I have uploaded Main Agreement - Sample_Agreement and also incorporated Doc Properties and Contract Line Item Table.

Example:

I have created the original contract with an expiry date of 28/05/2024 and unit price - 10 and qty 1500 nos. All required doc properties and CLID table are replicated in the enclosed Sample_Agreement(22).docx (downloaded document) successfully. I changed the agreement document status from Published to Finalized.

After publishing the above Contract workspace, I went for amendment (full amendment) during the amendment, I changed the expiry date to 27/05/2025, and unit price - 25, and qty 1800 nos.

Now being sample agreement in the Finalized state. It should not modify the main agreement document i.e. Sample_Agreement.docx, after the above amendment, the expiry date remained unchanged but the CLID table was updated with the new price and quantity. Enclosed Sample_Agreement(23).docx (downloaded document).

How to restrict this table from updating in the original contract agreement?

Expectation -, Sample_Agreement (the original document) should remain unchanged with Finalized document status until the project owner does not click on the 'Make Draft' option. Please help to achieve this. Also If you have any best practice processes for this, please share.

I tried to attached agreements but due to file type limitation i could not attached.
