How to restrict subcon delivery from consuming unrestricted stock post delivery creation

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement where subcon delivery during creation should do ATP check and once saved, it should not consume or hold any unrestricted stock when check with CO09.

We want delivery to consume unrestricted stock initially and then stock should be released once delivery saved, so that unrestricted stock can be used by other deliveries, SO or STO post the subcon delivery creation.

We are trying with new Business event say BS which will be flipped from existing Business event B where ATP check is activated and then create a ATP check control in APO where scope of check will not have any supply element or unrestricted stock. Please let us know if this approach is correct or a better solution if any.
