I am currently working with SAP EHS and need to upload sampling data (measurement results, analysis, etc.) in bulk into the system. So far, I’ve been entering this data manually using the standard transactions, but this process is becoming very time-consuming due to the large volume of data.
I would like to know if anyone has implemented a mass upload process for this type of data in EHS, and what best practices are recommended to achieve this. Here are a few specific questions I have:
- What tools do you recommend for mass uploads in EHS? Is it possible to use LSMW or any other standard SAP tool?
- Is there a way to integrate sampling results from a file (e.g., Excel) in an automated manner?
- How do you handle data validation and quality control requirements during a mass upload to ensure that the uploaded results are accurate?
- Is any custom program development required for this, or are there any standard solutions available?
