how to manually connect QUT1 with RDR1 ? (when adding RDR1)

yes i know this is not recommended,

but this is my workaround.

any ideas/pointers?

i know of these fields:

RDR1: BaseRef, BaseType, BaseEntry, BaseLine

QUT1: TargetType, TargetEntry, LineStatus...

i know there are more fields about quantities and stuff..

all i need is a simple explanation and i'm good to go.

Is what you want to firstly create the order and then the quotation? Are you using the DI API? Give us more information

first QUT

then RDR,

(normally this works fine)

but...

i delete the lines on the matrix on the RDR

then re-insert them

so i loose the BaseRef (column "44") data...

and i can't re-insert it... (cell disabled)

and when i SAVE then all connection to the base-document, is lost.

so i have two options:

- try to insert the BaseRef data before Save

- try to manually update fields AFTER save.

alas, option 1 didn't work for me. (ver 6.5)

option 2, as ugly as it is, should be not so difficult.

any suggestions?
