How to list relevant OSS Notes and their prerequisites in a report ?

Hello experts,

I manually list and install relevant OSS notes for several SAP ERP machines (from 600 to 608) and each one has its own SP/CLC level. As I first work online to list prerequisites, side effects and check for attachements it's a time consuming activity (and a frustrating one depending on connection speed to https://launchpad.support.sap.com).

Is there a way to use CL_CWB_NOTE class or SCWN functions group to list relevant notes on sap.com?

If it doesn't already exists, I would like to create an ABAP report using an OSS note or a SP number in parameter and then it will be able to list recursively only needed notes for this machine (and them sort them from the first to be implemented). That could save me a lot of time during legal change periods.

I thank you by advance for your ideas

Bertrand

Hi,

Please check the following KBAs:

2421423 - How to search relevant information via Knowledge Base - SAP ONE Support Launchpad
2417294 - My SAP Notes & KBAs Expert Search does not return the correct result - SAP ONE Support Launchpad

If this doesn't work, I suggest you raise incident under XX-SER-SAPSMP-LAUNCH

Ok, may be as these features are provided by Maintenance Planner, they are not openly accessible to abapers.

Thank you

Hello Moshe,

I thank you for your answer, I feared I might have broken some Omerta 🙂

My question is still opened, if anyone has a tip to simplify OSS note listing I'm listening.

Best regards

Bertrand
