When a sales order originates from a quotation, the system continues to reference the quotation number in the planned order. At present, there is no standard configuration to replace the quotation reference with only the sales order number. This behavior is by design, and SAP has confirmed that the linkage to quotations remains visible in planned orders when the sales order is created from a quotation.
