How to include Project System in Make-to-Stock process in Public cloud system?

Thanks for clarifying the scenario.

The Project System is separate from Make-to-Stock (MTS).

In MTS, production orders originate from planned independent requirements, and costs are assigned to cost centers and inventory rather than a WBS element.

The Project System in the Public Cloud is only supported for scenarios that are project-based, including:

• Capital or internal projects scope item  Project Financial Control
• Project procurement (BJ5)
• Make-to-Order.

For a sugar mill that relies on forecasts and oversees stock levels, the recommended approach is to run standard MTS in PP without linking to PS. If project-specific cost tracking is necessary, then the process should be configured as project manufacturing

• what the Business process is,
• what efforts you made so far to configure and integrate with PS
• if system gives any error during your configuration, share the screen shot

1. The company operates a sugar mill. Based on demand forecasts, they create independent requirements, which are then converted into production orders through MRP runs. The goods are manufactured in advance and delivered to customers directly from the finished goods inventory upon receiving a sales order.
2. This is my first time processing a Make-to-Stock scenario, and I have not yet attempted to configure it. Therefore, I am seeking your guidance before proceeding further.

Normally, Projects Systems module can be used for Service Industry or if the company have multiple internal projects and they want to capture all internal costs depending upon the projects, then, PS will come into picture.
Now coming to your query, if you are a PS consultant, you need to bifurcate the Organizational Structure into

• Project Definition
• WBS Elements
• Networks
• Activities which should further to capture internal and external activities

Again I doubt, for Sugar Industry with Make-To-Stock process, PS is not required.
