How to define accounts for COGS?

We would like to know how to check/define the accounts used for splitting the costs of good sold.

A cost splitting profile is predelivered by SAP and can be adapted to your requirements using the configuration activity Define Accounts for Splitting the Cost of Goods Sold. Only if the source and target accounts are defined can a COGS split take place. For more information, see the respective configuration help in your system and the following product assistance:
