Hello,
Our experts have already responded to your questions. It appears you have two key requirements:
You want to release data to specific FS Items based on the Cost Center.
You need to report Retained Earnings / Net Income at the Cost Center level.
Requirement 1:
You can implement GRPL substitution rules to map certain FS Items based on the Cost Center or any other ACDOCA fields Using a lookup table or simple rule for this purpose is also possible.
Requirement 2:
As of the 2023 version, there is no standard functionality to calculate ANI (Annual Net Income) at the Cost Center level. My colleagues @GrégoireDesombre and @dirk_degrell have already addressed this. The new posting rules for the ANI task are currently under development, and this functionality is planned for a future release.

Hello,
With the current task to calculate the Net Income it is not possible to keep the cost center value or to default a value for this field. This means that the cost center is empty. This is generally ok since the net income FS items (on B/S, on P&L) do not require such cost center breakdown. If you need the net income by cost centers, you can get this in the group reports by filtering the corresponding hierarchy node and a drilldown by cost center.
With the new Rules for Automatic Postings it will be possible to keep any fields value during the calculation of the net income, and also to assign a value for this field.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Grégoire

Hello Inthiyaz,
Unfortunately you did not give any context. Therefore I can only make assumptions. I assume the question is in the context of GRPL accounting integration. There you can default data posted on a particular cost center with a dedicated FS item via definition of a substitution rule.

Dirk
