Conversion Factor from Two Units of Measure

You can batch-specific units of measure:

1. Use proportion units or product units to define alternative units of measure for the material.
2. In the material master record, set the planned conversion factor for the material. Once the batch is known, update the actual conversion factor in the batch master record.
3. When entering data, use the function to calculate the conversion factor from base units of measure.
4. if necessary, you can manually enter the sample size in the desired unit, ensuring it aligns with the batch-specific unit of measure.

From  MM02 ==>  Additional Data ==> Units of Measure 

you need add conversion from Ton to KG like

1 KG <=> ! KG
1 TON  <=> 1000 KG

Then you can consume while creating sales order 

putting 0.5 KG in the quantity field whicj will equql 500 G

it should work
