How to De-activate the profict center accoutning

Hi,

I am sorry for asking the same question again.But not able to delete the profit centers as it is giving the error as given below

The master record for dummy profit center SAP-DUMMY cannot be deleted

Message no. KM181

Diagnosis

You cannot delete the master record of the profit center while Profit Center Accounting is active.

NOTE: I have De-activate the check box for profit center in OKKP transaction code & no check box was activated in 0KE5 transaction code.Still it is giving the above error.

The procedure i followed is:

De-activated the profit center in OKKP

De-activated in 0KE5

Inactivated the Dummy profit center in KE52

Tried to Delete the profit center in KE54,Now it is giving the above error...

Request: Please advice me what procedure do i need to follow to de-activate the profit center accounting and delete the profit center as well.

Hi,

Have you deleted entries in Tr. Code '1KEF' i.e activate direct postings in PCA in a Controllin Area ?

Thanks for your input I followed the same scenario, it worked.

Firstly we have to create one empty report name like this Z30PCA23.

after that, we have to implement the S-note 702854. 

So, once the note is implemented the code is automatically stored (insert) in that empty report. so, After that we have to execute the program in se38 (Z30PCA23).

The Dummy Profit Center will be deleted permanently.

Note : the S-note was released on Version: 21, Released On: 27.12.2023. So, now we can delete the Dummy profit center.

Just check whether there are an transaction data for that profit centre.
