How to create new depreciation key similar to UOPT in cloud system.

The depreciation keys available in the system are predefined. SAP provides a set of depreciation keys for each chart of depreciation (in other words, for each country and/or accounting principle). This ensures that the special valuation rules of a country or an accounting principle are adhered to with one unified manner of depreciation. From a support point of view, we have faced this question many times, where a customer would like to have access to a key outside of what comes as standard, if there is no legal requirement then the customer should submit an influence request, see KBA https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2963059.

If there is a legal requirement that is needs to be addressed, then a case to the localization component for the impacted area would be needed, and what would be helpful is some independent source or reference to the local legislation.
