How to mass create a generic Business Partner with either Business Partner applications or via the Migration Cockpit without any specific customer/supplier role.

Hi, 

It is not possible to create a generic business partner via the Migration Cockpit app either by the Staging Table approach or Direct Transfer as the business partner must have a role. This is clearly defined in the Help Portal for both approaches-

• Business partner | SAP Help Portal - Direct Transfer
• Customer | SAP Help Portal - Staging Table
• Supplier | SAP Help Portal - Staging Table

The 'Manage Mass Maintenance – Business Partner' application can be used to update a preexisting Business Partner but it cannot be used to create a Business Partner. More information is available here: Creating and Editing a Mass Process | SAP Help Portal.
