How to creat Process messages automatically through PI sheet to the Process message destinations.

Have you managed to figure out creating process messages automatically via CO69 using Data Points? Im using Message Category PI_CRST, but i dont know how to auto-read automatically the control recipe number (PPPI_CONTROL_RECIPE). I have managed to use Fixed Value for PPPI_CONTROL_RECIPE_STATUS and use data points for PPPI_EVENT_DATE and PPPI_EVENT_TIME, while PPPI_PROCESS_ORDER is not required anyway

I have sent the control recipe in CO53, and I have edit the PIsheet with CO60.

*my question is*: why not a message which Proc.Message Cat.is PI_PROD be create automatically when I saved the PIsheet?

Hi Jessie,

When you process instruction category PROD_3 in master recipe, the process message PI_PROD is created.

After releasing process order, you have to create control recipe. Upon successful creation of control recipe, process instructions will get generated. Check the error log for control recipe creation for error if any.

Note that control recipe will be generated only with order status "Released".

You have to sent this control recipe to process control (CO53).

I think, when I saved the PI sheet, PI_PROD process message will be created automatically,but I have not find any process about PI_PROD, I don't know the reason and what I should do?

Hi,

For this you have to assign the message category to process instruction then it will create process message automatically.

PI_CONS,PI_PROD these are the some process messages in the std.given.
