How to change Purchase order quantity for Limit Services item.

I use tcode ME21N created a PO for item category D and use Limit tab for the services. When try to change the PO quantity field with tcode ME22N , the Quantity field is grey off , cannot be changed.   How to change the PO quantity for Services PO line item that using the Limit service tab (upper and lover limit value) wihout a Serivce item. the PO quantity field is grey off ?

Hi,

When your creating any purchase order with item category D, then item overview quantity should be 1 with unit of measurement AU(activity unit) which is fixed and can not be changed as it configured in T.code: ML91. Because service is an intangible material ,cannot be stored and measured as ACTIVITY UNIT.But you have option to enter quantity and change quantity in item details in "Service" TAB where you can drag down service details in term of unit of measure as hours or days or sqft or AU to simplify to service procurement process.
