Dear SAP Community,
When performing warehouse tasks, it is possible to change the destination bin and HU during the putaway process by using an exception code. If you cannot access the proposed destination bin for exemple, you can select an option to change the destination bin and then enter the new destination.
However, for the picking process of an outbound delivery, the source bin is not typically changed during RF transactions because the system determines the source bin based on predefined settings and assignments. In such scenarios, you can only confirm the pick from the assigned source bin or use exception handling if there are issues with the source bin.
For both processes, exceptions can be handled by choosing options like ‘Except’ for changing the destination or reporting issues during picking if the required bin isn’t accessible. You can refer to specific configurations and exceptions set up in your RF transaction settings to handle such cases.
