Hi Radhakrishna,

Do with CS20. Select component and it will fetch all the BOM. Then change with the desired component/Qty.

Krishnendu.

Hi Radhakrishna,

Try to check with CEWB for mass change of components in BOM.

Thanks

Hi Radhakrishna,

Try using CEWB.

Steps to follow:

  1. Select current work area as BOM item (SAP_ITEM )
  2. On item tab select the component you want to replace & enter plant
  3. Select LOAD BOMs & Tasklist icon.
  4. System will load all the BOM's that have that item. If a Bom has multiple items with same component number , multiple lines of BOM are displayed.
  5. Select the change ( pencil ) icon on the screen
  6. The component columns can now be changed. Ie insert the new component number for each of the bom's.
  7. Click on Save.
  8. System will display message worklist saved.

Thanks & Regards,

Ramagiri

Hi

Krishnendu is right, but see also SAP Note 374807 - New CS20: Validity / logic for further details.

We have a solution that allows for mass BOM updates. The report has BOMs and the components.

  1. Select components from the main report.

  2. press the mass change icon where you are prompted to select objects that need to be updated.

  3. This results in the component being copied
