How to Calculate Activity Absorption other than with Base Unit of Measure

Hi Gurus,

Here is my problem. In this new implementation, I want to calculate activity absorption in LB. The Base uom is cases (CA). My activity price is in LB. Is there any way that I can get SAP to calculate the absorption in LB? I don't think we can do this since the Base uom CA is not the smallest uom.

The only way that I have been able to do this is create a formula parameter for the Net Weight. I added this field to the master recipe. I then created a formula that would look at the net weight and then perform the calculation.

There has got to be an easier way to do this with the additional uom on the material master.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

What you did is the only way out.. You have to maintain the formula conversion in master recipe...

Or else, maintain the conversion at the global level between LB and Cases, and then you can maintain the activity qty in recipe in LB instead of Cases so that the confirmed qty will also be in LB
