How to avoid a purchase requisition for a material on stock

Dear community,

we are using app F1639A - My purchase requisitions to manually create P/Rs for non production material. In many cases existing material on stock in the warehouse will be requested. This creates unnecessary efforts in procurement to recognize the material on stock or will result in superfluous material in the warehouse. 

From a process point of view users should first look into the app F1076 Stock - Single Material, but this is usually not done.

Will it be possible to display the Unrestricted-Use Stock in the app F1636A next to the Quantity Requested? How can I do this? I did not find any possibility in the adapt UI for the app.

Or even better, will it be possible to start an ATP check to show the material on stock or delivery time similar to the ATP check in a sales quotation?

Hi,

 There is no standard solution to block a PR from being created manually based on stock availability. I would recommend checking if BAdI PPH_MRP_PURREQ_CFL or any other PR item level BAdI can be used to check for availability of stock while creating Purchase requisition manually.
