How to Archive/Delete Batches in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition?

Hi,

Data archiving is a process used to delete data at the end of its lifecycle and to block and delete personal data in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Archiving transfers personal data from the database to archive files once the purpose for the data is fulfilled. During this process, the personal data is automatically marked as blocked. Blocked data is restricted from access to prevent unauthorized processing.

Personal data remains blocked until the retention period expires. Once the retention period is complete, you can proceed with destroying the archived data.

To archive batch master records, you must use the LO_BATCH.
