How to Add or Enable Extension Fields in Adobe LiveCycle Designer?

Extension fields are already added in Form Template via Adaptation. But when editing the form template via Adobe LiveCycle Designer, the extension fields in Adobe LiveCycle Designer are not available.

You need to connect the main schema to data view.

Below are the steps to follow:

1. Open .xdp file (template) in Adobe Livecycle designer and go to Data view.
2. Right click on ‘Data connection’ and select ‘Connection properties’ 
3. Click Next & Ok.
4. In this screen, browse and select the MainSchema.xsd
5. Click ‘Finish’

Once the connection is updated, you should be able to bind the fields respectively.
