How to add new fields into line item for an Manage sales order app in s/4 hana

For one of requirement, I need to add new fields into Line Items of SAP Manage sales order app.
May I know how do I achieve this either using developer extensibility or classic extensibility.?

if developer extensibility I tried adding new fields they are placing at custom fields tab, but I need those fields into line-Item table.
