How to add a new tab for the project?

Hi...

you can create new custom fields by using user exit CNEX0007 and this will create a new tab for wbs elements

with the name "Customer Enhancement"...(this can be used to add custom logic and fields to your existing wbs elements)

Besides that in customing...(spro) if you follow the path Project Systems->Structures->Operative Struct->Work Breakdown Structure->User Interface Settings->Layout of wbs element Derail screens you can create new tabs by relocating all existing standard wbs info. That means new tabs (icons and tab descriptions) for all existing wbs fields....

could you try it in cj20n (project builder) or in cj02 (change mode)?

    I tried, CJ20N works and I can see the new tab, but CJ02 is not possible.

    Could you tell me why?

Hi..

in cj02 you need to check on the wbs elements. I have checked it in my system and it shows the new tabs. (when you enter cj02 probably you are seeing the project definition...You need to dbl click on the lines of the wbs table)..

    The new tab in cj20n , and the new tab can only be displayed in the highed level.Pls refer to below

    And in cj02, there is no this tab also in the wbs detailed screen,

I have implemented user exit CNEX0007. I can see the custom enhancement tab with custom fields in CJ20N T code. I want to display the same custom tab in CJ11 T code as well. Can you please help me on this
