How to activate the purchasing view for material type in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition?

Hi Team 

We discovered the purchasing view is not active for material type FERT in starter system. 

We intend to have purchase view activated for material type FERT.

Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible to activate any view for material types. This configuration in done within Configuration Activity/SSCUI 103539 "Define Attributes of Material Types".

To activate the purchasing view for a material type, follow these steps:

1. Open Configuration Activity/SSCUI 103539 "Define Attributes of Material Types"
2. Select Material Type: Identify the material type for which you want to activate the purchasing view (e.g. FERT).
3. Activate Purchasing View by checking this view's checkbox under "User Departments" section.
4. Save Changes
