HOW IS SPECIAL STOCK INDICATOR DETERMINED IN PP rework order?

Hi PP Guru,

I'd like to know how the special stock indicator 2 (project) is determined when it comes to creating Rework order by CO07.

1. There is NO stock determination rule for the order type in OPJ2.

2. When specifying WBS in the initial screen of CO07, the special stock indicator 2 (project) is auto determined, which is what we want. 

3. When no WBS is specified in the initial screen of CO07 and instead maintain WBS in the assignment tab, the special stock indicator 2 is always blank.

If manually specified with 2, we got the error message CO684.

So what is the difference and impact of specifying WBS in the initial screen and header?

Hi Sally.

Please check the settlement profile assigned to the order type which you're using in OPJH. 

And go to t-code OKO7 and check the configuration profile settings. refer the below screen shot, for WBS element it should be 1- Settlement optional.
