How exclude specific storage location in MRP when no via MRP area

In S4/HANA.

When running MRP, the inventory at certain inventory locations is not considered. Are there other ways to do this, such as enhancements, without using MRP areas?

You have to use MRP areas. Storage location MRP planning is no longer supported in S/4HANA. That is one of the simplifications.

As per note 2268045 - S4TWL - Storage Location MRP

The S/4HANA MRP only plans on plant and MRP area level. Planning on storage location level is not available in SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1511.

In my opinion that simplification does make sense. Storage location MRP planning was cumbersome and functionally limited. MRP areas are much better.

The OP specifically mentions S/4HANA. Storage location MRP planning is not supported in S/4HANA anymore. It's replaced with MRP areas.
