How can we switch shop floor systems

We have a current setup with a server. many PPD's. Many triggers. Connected to a single shop floor system. Now we want to move the shop floor system to a different datacenter. What we do is connected to a second shop floor system and plan a day to do the switch. 

We are in the stage of testing the asset connectivity to switch to the different shop floor system. We've added the second shop floor system in the asset.

Now we click disconnect at an asset. 

as you can see we cannot disconnect the asset. When we quick delete the subscription and try to disconnect the asset we get the message about a PPD using it:

We think its not doable to recreate ALL PPD's and TRIGGERS. There must be a smarter way to move an asset to a different shop floor system and leave all TRIGGERS and PPD's intact. Does anyone know this?

Unfortunately we faced no other option than to recreate everything.
